Weekly Deals

Good Morning!

Wow!  Have you seen the weekly deals?  Great prices on great products!

Love the Hearth & Home thinlits and the Leaflets Framelits.  Remember these cards that we made in class?  I love the silver rimmed pearls as well.  Purchasing these items would qualify you for a free Sale-A-Bration item as well.  Contact me to order or go to my website to order here.

Hearth & Home

Leaflets Framelits and Gold Foil

Sorry I didn't get this out yesterday, but I have been working on my April class and I am super excited about the cards that we will be making.  In fact, I made 5 different cards and I need to trim it down to 3.  Hard decision.  The left over 2 will go into the May class.  I have more ideas than class time.

I am thinking about opening up more classes;  perhaps an evening class or 2 classes per month rather than one.  Still mulling that over.  If you would like to see two classes per month, the second one being an evening class, please let me know.  I'll be taking a survey at my next class session.

In the meantime, go make a card that will light up someone's day!
Until tomorrow,

Sheryl

The Easter Card finale!

Good Morning!  I hope your Easter journey has been fulfilling.

Today I'm sharing with you the last of the three cards that I have made for Easter.  Again, two of these were featured in my March Card Class.  Here are the details of them:

I think this might of been my favorite.  Love the Easter Lamb stamp.  I separated the sentiment from the lamb, because I thought this would make a wonderful baby card stamp as well.

Here is the Butterfly Easter card.  The butterfly is traditionally the symbol of the resurrection.  I used a retired stamp for the inside.

Isn't it beautiful?  My inspiration for this card (actually I CASE'd it) from Linda Heller.  It uses the Botanical Blooms Vellum paper from the Sale-a-Bration catalog and that beautiful Watermelon Wonder ribbon, found in the 2016 Occasions Catalog.  The delicate butterfly is cut out using the Flowering Fields DSP (Sale-a-Bration).  I thought this card was stunning!

The last card was CASED from Tami White.  It's beautiful but a bit of a bugger to put together.  I used Press & Seal paper to keep the flowers together so I could piece them better.  This technique is called Stained Glass and I used the clear Wink of Stella on the flower pieces to give the card that extra something.  The sentiment is from the Occassions catalog, Suite Sayings, which is a wonderful all around sentiment set.

That's it for today.  May you have a joyous and blessed Easter!

Hugs,

Sheryl

Easter Cards

Good Morning!  May your day be blessed!

I'm busy this morning making hot cross buns which we eat to end the fast on Good Friday.  I'm also cleaning the house in preparation for Easter Day!  I'm playing the organ tonight at our Good Friday Liturgy and then I will play for the Mass at 8 am on Sunday morning.  This is after being at church for the Great Easter Vigil - probably won't get home until 10 pm or later.  We do it up big at my church.  Then I will be having 9 people over for Easter dinner.  Love it!

Today I'm showing you some of the cards that I have made for Easter.  The peek-a-boo bunny is one I sent to Sage for Easter.

I got this idea from Stamping Texas (stampinTX.blogspot.com).  The only thing I changes was that I put glitter in the bunny's ears to give him a little more appeal to an 18 month old.  Kale will probably chew on the card.  Oh well, it';s the thought that counts.

This is the card that I sent to Sage:

If it looks familiar, it is.  This was one of the cards that we made at my March 2016 Card Class. See what you're missing if you don't sign up?

The last card I'm showing you today is the one that I sent to Kale and Sage's parents.  Now this is stamped with last years Occassions stamp set, but I love it anyway.  It's on one our the notecards that Stampin' Up! sells.  I jazzed it up with Wink of Stella.  It's simple, but I thought it was very pretty.

That's it for today.  Tomorrow I'll show you the rest!

Have a blessed Good Friday!
