July Blog Waddle! Shoebox Swap!

Welcome to another Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle!  This month we are featuring the cards we designed and made at our Annual June Shoebox Swap!

My card featured Varied Vases and we used the Stamparatus to get perfect placement.  I also used the lovely Share What You Love Designer Series Paper.   Here is the card:

I've attached a .pdf file which has all the measurements and ink information.  I also used the Stamparatus to perfectly place the flower stems and vase on the precut circle. Leaves punched out in Vellum cardstock added both texture and visual interest.    Wink of Stella gave it some bling too!  Please click here to view and download.  I've also included links to my web store if you wish to purchase any or all of the items.

Hope you enjoyed my card!

Birthday Season Has Started!

Good Morning Stampers!

In my family, we have 3 months of hard core birthdays, starting at the very end of June and lasting through the first part of September:  June 28, July 11, July 12, July 18, July 28, July 30, August 13, August 20, September 6 and finally, September 13th.  Whew!  Oh, and also September 19th, if you count the dog.  Which I do.  (Of course!)

Anyway, this weekend was the kickoff for the two birthdays that are June 28th and July 11th...my two precious granddaughters!

Sisterly Love!  Alice didn't want to cooperate, Maelyn insisted.  Thus the picture.

Maelyn is turning 6 on July 11th and she wanted a Unicorn Party.  I just had to use the Rainbow Builder framelits (retired) and the Magical Day DSP, stamps, thinlits and washi tape.  It had a unicorn in it and you just can't go wrong with the paper and sparkle!  Here is her card...

 And here is the inside:

Little Alice loves balloons;  any kind of balloon.  I wanted something very bright and fun, so I used Birthday memories DSP and the Birthday Friends Framelits dies (retired) and the balloon punch.  I used the new 2018-2020 incolor DSP and coordinating 1/8" ribbon.  Here is Alices's card and envelope:

And the inside:

Alice was too busy tearing into things to notice the card, but her Mommy sure loved it!

Hope you enjoyed today's cards.

Blessings, Sheryl
