Cute Kit Kat Treat Holder - Boo Kitty!

 Hi all!

I  made this little treat holder for my granddaughters first grade Halloween party and it was so cute and easy to make, that I thought I'd share it with you.

I used a 2" banner punch, a 5/8" heart punch and a 3/4" square punch.  The "Boo" comes from the Tricks and Treats die set from Stampin'Up and the cute little green sparkle nose is the Glitter Sequins from StampinUp.  This kitty holds the snack size of Kit Kat of course!

Here is the free PDF that you can download:

I have even done a quick (?) video to show you how to put all this together:

Hope you enjoyed todays project.  Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Blessings.......Sheryl

Trucking Along Bridge Christmas Card

Hi All!

I made this card for my September 2023 class and it was so much fun  to make.  It's quite unique also.  It's an oversized card (5-1/2 x 5-1/2 when folded) which of course requires a special envelope, which I ordered through Amazon.  Click here to order the envelopes from Amazon.

I also have a free pdf with the recipe.

And here is the video on how to put this together.

I hope you enjoy making this card.

Blessing,  Sheryl

October 2023 Stampin' Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle - Designer Series Paper!

Hi all, and welcome to the October blog waddle put on by the Stampin' Stray Ducklings.  Our theme this month is the beautiful designer series paper found in the Stampin'Up! September - December 2023 Mini catalog.

I'm really loving the new mini catalog and it's beautiful designer series paper.  In fact, so much so that I have 2 cards to show you.  The first is using the beautiful Winter Meadow, which uses non-traditional Christmas colors:  Basic Black, Blueberry Bushel, Garden Green, Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, Moody Mauve, Pebbled Path, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, and Smoky Slate. Here is a picture showing the 6 different designs of beautiful watercolors.  I love the soft colors and the gentle images.

And here is the card that I made.  I used Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight to make this simple card.  the pattern was toned down a bit by the use of a small rectangle of vellum card stock.  My inspiration was from Rhonda Wade:

I also used Christmas Classic Dies, the new punch, modern oval and the white iridescent ribbon.

The second card I want to show you is both a Trick and a Treat!  Great card to give at Halloween.  It's called a "never-ending-card" and may have to come with instructions on how to open it. (I've provided a video!)  I used the "Them Bones" 12 x 12 Designer series paper.  Here is the card - all 4 sides!

And here is a quick video on how to open this card!

I cannot take credit for creating this card.  The never-ending card technique has been around for quite a while.  Lynn Dunn, of Stamptastic Designs has done a wonderful video and also has a free download of all the measurements.  Check out her video here.

That's all for today.  Blessings,  Sheryl
