A Closer Look at Eastern Palace
Hi All!
Today I want to take a closer look at some of the cards that I have made with the Eastern Palace Suite, now available until May 31st. (click on the pic in the right hand column for more details).
This is a close up of the sunflower card that I made. My inspiration was from Patty Bennet. I just changed it up a bit and used the new woodgrain paper stack (available June 1st), as my background. To snaze it up a bit, I used the gold vinyl stickers (I'm in love with them).
This card used the Eastern Medallion thinlits, along with the nested circle framelits. Plus I used the May Flower Framelits (retiring). I used daffodil delight paper, sponged with crushed curry. the center of the flower is Chocolate chip, with early espresso and basic black circles behind them. Old olive was used for the leaves, and sponged with old Olive. The sentiment is from Wood Words stamp set, available June 1st. The back ground paper is the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, also available June 1st. I think the card is stunning!
The second card I want to share is really quite simple, yet elegant. This will be one of the cards we will be making in my July card classes. The inspiration for this card comes from Connie Stewart.
I'm using thick very vanilla card stock and the new in-color, Fresh Fig. I embossed the flower outline in gold, then cut out using the coordinating Eastern Medallion thinlits. I stamped the figures and the sentiment in the fig color as well. The middle is using a 3/4" circle punch and gold glimmer paper. I was very happy how this turned out.

Eastern Palace Suite May 1 - May 31st
Hi Stampers!
Sorry, I've been a bit late out of the gate on this Stampin'Up Special Promotion: The Eastern Palace Suite. These bundles are only available during the month of May. Once the new catalog goes live, the regular bundle of Stamp set and thinlits goes into effect. This special promotion is a great way of getting your hands on the complete suite plus free thick vanilla paper or the new vanilla notecards and envelopes. Here is picture of the Starter Bundle for $60.50 (147196) with free notecards:
And here is a picture of the Premier Bundle for $103.50 (147207) with a free thick very vanilla card stock pack:
At first, I will admit, this bundle kind of intimidated me: I really didn't think I would like it. This weekend, I finally started playing with it and oh boy! It's WONDERFUL. Here are some cards that I made: The thinlits have so many combination possibilities and the gold vinyl stickers are the best!
Aren't these gorgeous? And very easy to make, believe it or not. I plan on doing one of these cards for my July class so you can get a look and feel for this stamp set and thinlits. However, I would strongly recommend that you take advantage of the special offer on the Suite bundles.
I will be showing this and many other items from the new catalog at my Open House Catalog Launch on Thursday, June 8th and Friday, June 9th. You really won't want to miss this.

June Class Sign Up
Howdy everyone!
I've been off the grid - took some time off to clean my house, do some quilting and try to get my stamp room in order and ready for the new 2017-2018 catalog!.
I've also been busy making samples for my June class and for my Annual Open House and Catalog Launch, both in June. (more about this later)
Here are the cards that we will be making in June. Now, my selection is a bit odd. There is only one card that highlights the new Stampin'up Catalog. And I will tell you why....I'm not quite done with the Occassions catalog. The light house and the dragon flies were some of my favorite stamp sets in the spring catalog. Fortunately, they have been carried forward into the annual catalog. Also I saw a cool technique called tarnished foil that I just had to try out. So here are the cards:
The fourth, bonus card will be a surprise - it's the one in the upper right hand corner. Wait until you open it......It is a WOW card for sure.
The June classes are on the following dates:
Sunday, June 11th - 1:30 - 4:30 pm
Tuesday, June 20th - 10am - 2pm
Friday, June 23rd - 10am -2pm
Please contact me with your desired date and time so I know how many kits to make.
The dates are a bit catty-wampus, but that is because of my Annual Open House Catalog Launch which will be Thursday, June 8th and Friday, June 9th. - Door Prizes, make&takes, treats, plus lots of samples and inspiration. You can also pick up your Stampin'Up Catalog. And I will be having huge sale of my retired stamps, paper and accessories. I will keep this up the month of June, so you can make an appointment to come and take a look, if you can't make it on the 8th or 9th. However, the early you come, the better the selections!
More samples tomorrow.
