December Class - Christmas Finale

Here are the samples of my Christmas Card Class Finale!  We will be making 5 cards total - 2 of the shadow box card, that I took the recipe and instructions from Dawn Griffith! You can check out her video on YouTube if you want to get a heads up on how to make this great card!

There will also be a surprise 6th card!  Cost is $10.    There is lots of room left in my Friday and Sunday Classes; 

Friday, December 11th - 10 am to 2 pm - light lunch served
Sunday - December 13th - 1:30 to 4:30 pm  (no lunch).

New Video Today!

I've filmed a new video for you and have discovered some things about filming videos!  Noises are annoying.  And apparently I have an obsession with closing my ink pads - very noisly too!  Plus I talk too much.  I've taken notice of all this and the next video will be shorter and quiter, I hope. 

Anyway, about today's video.  This is one of the cards that we made in my 10 Card Christmas Buffet.  My inspiration for this card comes from Stampin'Up! demonstrator Tina Rappe. I loved the red cardinal stamp (state bird of Illinois!) and the tent card presentation.  A tent card is a 4-1/4 x 4-1/4  card with an extension on it to make it 5 1/2" tall and fits in a standard envelope.

Stamp Set - Joyful Christmas (2015 Holiday Catalog)

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Memento Black

Paper: 
Always Artichoke - 4-1/4 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
Whisper White - 4x4 (cut 2 - for front and inside);  3 x 3 for cardinal, scrap to stamp cardinal and cut out.
Cherry Cobbler - 3x3

Assesories:  2 way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds

Going, Going, Gone!

Good Morning my stamper friends!

Sorry I have been so absent from the blogging scene.  I have been very, very, busy.  On November 7th we had our 2nd annual Peoria Stamp Fair, attended by 62 very happy ladies.  We offered two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.  We had 4 Make & Takes, Paper Pumpkin, product demonstrations, display boards and best of all we had Prize Patrol. And to top it off, we had a grand prize basket that you could win with over $125 of Stampin'Up product!

Then last weekend, November 14th, with 2 of my other Stampin' Up demonstrators, we went up to Milwaukee WI to join hundreds of other demonstrators to attend Stampin' Up's first ever On Stage.  The main program was broadcast from Brussels Belgium (yes that is right.  Stampin' Up is international!)  They unveiled the new Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration catalog which will go live in January.  It was a great time to reconnect with fellow demonstrators and get inspiration and hands on knowledge of the new product.

Today I'm starting my Christmas All the Way 10 Card Buffet.  Classes are today, Friday and Sunday where my customers get the chance to make up to 10 Christmas cards.  Hope they eat their whites today!

Christmas all the Way Card Buffet in November

We will really be serious about getting our Christmas cards made in November.  To help you along with this goal, I am offering a Christmas Card Buffet on Tuesday, November 17th, Friday, November 20th and Sunday, November 22nd.  Contact me by November 10th if you wish to sign up for this class.  The class will not be held in my home.  So if call to make reservations and find out where this thing is being held!

I don't know about you, but the time change has been kind of hard on me.  I'm waking up at 4:30 or 5am and then I'm dead tired by 8:00 pm!  Not getting much work done.
