Happy Valentines Day!

Good Morning!

Well, I really goofed on the Stray Duckling Blog Waddle.  Somehow ( I didn't read the post all the way through... my bad) I thought the theme was Sale-a-Bration, and in reality it was Love is in the Air.  Apparently my air doesn't have love.  But never fear, here is my Valentine post and I'll link the other ladies of Stray Ducklings who had beautiful samples of Valentine Cards.

Here is my first Valentine Card:

I used the From My Heart DSP and the wonderful "Stitched So Sweetly" dies.  I used the Heartfelt bundle, heart doilies and sparkly glimmer paper.  The ribbon is actually 3 strands I took out of the white flax ribbon.

My 2nd and 3rd cards are made with just one set of dies - I used both the positive and negative parts of the "Stitched Be Mine" dies and  cut paper.

This was a surprisingly easy card to put together - Love the Stitched Be Mine dies too - so versatile!  To make the card extra special I used the Lace 3-D embossing folder.

I hope you have a wonderful Valentines day.  And stay warm.  It's heading toward 2 degrees outside as I'm writing this.  Brrr....

Blessings,

Sheryl

February Stray Duckling Waddle - Celebrating Sale-a-Bration!

Welcome to our monthly inspiration!  This month we are Sale-a-Brating.   I got so excited about it, I've made 3 cards (well, one 3-d item)  to share with you.

The first card is the from the Sale-a-Bration set, "Happy Birthday to You"

The second card is using the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I used the Honey Bee Bundle to complete the card.  Love the paper!

The last project I want to show you uses both the stamp set in Sale-a-Bration, "The Gangs all Meer" and my new favorite die, from the All Dressed Up Dies.    This was inspired by Linda Heller, Stamping School.

Here is that same bag with a cut little card in the front pocket:

Hope you enjoyed my projects!  Contact me if you would like the details and recipes.

February Class - Pleased as Punch

Good Morning everyone!

Today I'm showing you my February class which is based on the new product coordination items that Stampin'Up is releasing February 4th.  (see sidebar for details)  This special promotion lasts until March 31st or until inventory runs out.

I loved the new DSP that is in this promotion - called "Pleased as Punch" and it coordinates with 3 of the punches found in the January - June 2020 Mini Catalog (Tulip, Umbrella, and Hearts) and one punch that you can earn for free in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog (mini flower).

I've designed a packet of notecards (20 cards and envelopes for $7!  Great deal!), and a darling little box to give as a gift to someone special.  Here are the cards and notecard box:

In addition to getting 20 notecards and envelopes, I am also giving you a package of the Pleased as Punch Designer Series paper, 1/4 sheet of Basic Rhinestones, 1/4 sheet of Basic Pearls and 1/4 Sheet of the new Champaign colored Rhinestones, found in the Mini.  I provide the punches, although the images are easily sniped out by hand.  I also provide the stamps, ink and do all the background cutting for you.  I'm also including detailed instructions and the recipes for the cards.  You just need to stamp and assemble.  Since I'm adding a lot of items for you to take home, the cost of this class is slightly higher - $30.

Because of the probable popularity of this paper, I want to order the supplies for the class the first day it is available, which is February 4th.  So I need to know if you are going to be attending the class not later than 9pm on February 3rd.

Here are the Dates and Times:

Sunday, February 23rd - 1:30 - 4:30
Tuesday, February 25th - 10am - 2pm
Friday, February 28th - 10am - 2pm.

Please let me know as soon as possible.  Hope to see you there!

Blessings,

Sheryl

PS.  Save the Date - March 20th and 21st

January Class is now in Session

Hello All!

Yikes, it's been a while since I posted here.  Here is just a quick peek at the cards we are making in January.  My original class was cancelled due to weather, so it has been rescheduled for Friday, January 31st.

I'm doing something a bit different in this class - I wanted everyone to have some Valentines, so we are making 3 of them.  Plus two other cards which highlight two of the most popular stamp sets in the new mini catalog, (two each and then the bonus card..). so all in all, you are making 8 cards!  Surprise!  The bonus card is using the Pretty Poppies stamp set and coordinating dies and is a buckle card - something a little different.

Hope you have enjoyed viewing these.  This class is now closed, but if you would like to have a class in your home with your friends, I'm more than happy to travel!  Cost would be $20 per class - 8 cards.

Tomorrow I will post the February class - I've already got it done and ready to go!  Again, we will be doing something a little different, but I'm sure you will love it!  I do!

Until tomorrow,

Sheryl
