Sneak Peek at the August Class

Good Morning!

I thought I would share with you a sneak peek at the August Class - These three cards have been made for quite a while and I was just waiting for the perfect time to add them to my class!

The new Holiday Catalog from Stampin' Up comes out on September 1st.  So I'm pretty sure my cards are going to center around that for September.

The cards are for many occasions;  sympathy, get well and birthday.  I don't have the bonus card made yet - waiting on getting the stamp set from Stampin' Up! And it's a WOW!  I do promise a newsletter for August and the dates of my classes.

Class Dates for these cards are:  Sunday, August 7th, Tuesday, August 9th and Friday August 12th.  Contact me if you want to sign up!  2 cards, 3 different designs with envelopes plus a bonus card for $15!  Check down below for another very special class in August.....

And don't forget - July is Bonus Days!  Buy your essentials this month(July) and have fun next month! For every $50 spent this month (before shipping and tax) you get a $5 coupon that you can use on anything (other than Paper Pumpkin or Starter Kit) next month!

August Special from Stampin'Up!

And Stampin' Up is offering a wonderful, versatile new stamp set/thinlits bundle called Thoughtful Branches that is only available for the month of August.  Spend your Bonus Bucks here!  This is available only from August 2nd until the 31st.  Check out all the stamps and thinlits you get.  I think this might be a favorite;  There are little birds! and the trees!  Love the font of the sentiments as well.

August Special!

Here is just one set of samples of what you can do with this set...beautiful!

I'm holding a special class in August where we will make these 3 items using the new Thoughtful Branches bundle!

I'm back....again

Hi All!

Once again, I have ignored my blog, but for good reason!  I just became a grandmother again, for the 5th time!  Hard for me to believe that my babies are having babies!  The newest addition to our expanding family, is Alice Rose, born 6/28/16 and coming into the world at 6 lbs, 1 oz and 19" long.  Just a little peanut! And she looks just like her beautiful Mama.

Big sister Maelyn holding her favorite baby sista!

Then to add to all this, Cody has been playing phenomenal baseball - his team won first in their league.

Cody was also selected to play on the All Star team and their game was July 3rd.  Best part, his team won!

Then they played the league tournament.  The first game his team, the Indians could do no wrong.  They were amazing.  The next day they played again and you would think they were a different team.  Couldn't field, couldn't hit.  Unfortunately they were eliminated from play that day.  Oh well, they still had a great year!

On top of all of this, we have moved my husbands father into Assisted living and are dealing with emptying his house and selling his car.  And I am having July Card Stamping Classes.  I didn't get a July newsletter out, so here are the card samples:

3 cards plus a bonus card!  All about Birthdays is the theme this month.

And to top it off, I have been playing the Contemporary Service at church every Saturday evening, and I'm getting ready to go to Wisconsin on our annual vacation.  whew!  And I thought retirement would be easy.

So that's my life's story so far.  Sorry I haven't posted, but I will endeavor to try harder.  Watch for tomorrow's blog post.  Yeah, there will be one.  I hope.

Blessings,

Sheryl

Open House and New In-Color Card

Good Morning!

Today I'm showing you the card that I designed as a gift to all who come to my Open House.  It highlights 2016-2018 In Colors and Layers of Love Stamp set:

I used Flirty Flamingo as my base card, and stamped the sentiment in Dapper Denim.  I used Work of Art for my In-Color swishes.  A bit of the ruched ribbon in emerald envy complete the card.  I thought it turned out very well.  Come to my open house and and get your card!

Today, Friday, June 10th - 10am - 3 pm
Tomorrow - Saturday, June 11th - 10am - 2pm.

Email me if you have any questions.
Hope to see you at my open house!

Classes for June 2016

Good morning friends!

This month I'm focusing on some of the new product that we have available from the 2016-2017 Stampin' Up catalog.  One of my absolute favorite items is the Swirly Bird Stamp set and the coordinating Swirly Scribbles thinlits dies.

There are so many possibilites with this set and I love the graphic nature of the swirls.  Here is what we are making in June - 2 cards each of three designs - with envelopes.  Cost is $15

Now, in appreciation to all my loyal customers, we will be making a BONUS CARD!  You will only be making one of these because it's a bit involved, but I think it's really cool!

This would make a great Father's Day card as well.
The classes are Tuesday, June 21st, 10 - 2 pm, Friday, June 24th, 10 - 2 pm, and Sunday, June 26th from 1:30 pm until 5.

If you would like a set of these cards, but are unable to attend the class, I can make them for you.  Cost is $15.

Email me if you would like to sign up.  I need an RSVP so I know how many kits to make.  Check out my June newsletter in the right hand column as well!

If you would like to order the Swirly Bird Stamp set and/or Swirly Scribbles, click on the images below and this will take you to my Stampin'Up website.

Have a blessed day!
