December 2024 Stray Duckling Blog Waddle - Christmas Gift Card Holders

Welcome to our monthly Blog Hop or Waddle, as we like to say (since we are all ducklings).  

This month we are inspiring you with home made gift card holders.  Here is my card, inspired and copies from Angie Juda (aka Chicn'Scratch).  

I chose this as my gift card holder because 1) it's very easy to make and 2) I ran out of time to make my sample and post this blog!  So I went for easy.  

I love making gift card holders - they are small and can be made very cute and appealing.  My church sells gift cards (or we like to call them shopping cards) as a fund raiser through a company called Raise Right.  I make a bunch of different gift card holders to encourage people to buy from our church and to give as gifts.  What better gift then a card that you can spend on ANYTHING!

Here are the measurements for my gift card:

Garden Green: 

• 3-1/2-" x 8-1/2" - Score on the 8-1/2" side @ 2" & 6" 
• 1" x 9" (belly band) 
• 2-3/4” Deckled Circle 

Take a Bow Paper: 

• 3-1/4" x 2-1/4" 3-1/4" x 1-3/4" 

Basic White

•  2-1/2” Stitched Circle Scrap for stamping & die cutting
