November 2024 Stray Duck Waddle - Favorite Stamp Set in the Winter Mini

 Hi all, and welcome to our November 2024 Stampin' Stray Duckling Blog Waddle.  

This month we are focusing on our favorite stamp set/bundle in the 2024 September - December Mini Catalog.  

I was a real toss up between a stamp set and a bundle.  The stamp set that I'm really enjoying is Caring Leaves (164273) on page 59 of the mini catalog.  It's a small stamp set, but I love the fact that they are 1) leafs and 2) clean and simple design.  Here are a couple of cards that I made.  The first one, I used sponge daubers to put Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Old Olive ink on the filler stamp.

I also used the fabulous Iconic Celebrations 6x6 Designer Series paper. (164193) I love the clean graphic design.  I love using the outline of the leaf to create a background image.

The second card that I made, I used the baby wipe technique - where I put drops of ink (using the Stampin'Up reinkers) on a folded babywipe, which in effect, makes it a stamp pad.  Here are two cards using that technique:

I just have to throw this one in:  the More Than Autumn Bundle(164076) is a real fun stamp set and die set.  I love the font and all the fun things you can cut out with the dies.  Here is a card that we made in my October class:  this fun fold was designed by Connie Stewart.
