July 2022 Class is Now in Session!

Greetings All!

Hope you are enjoying your 4th of July!  I’ve been busy planning out July card classes.  As you know by now, the new Winter mini-catalog from Stampin’Up is out as well as the new Sale-a-Bration brochure,  as of July 1st.  I have to be honest with you…I was not ready for this catalog.  I’ve barely wrapped my mind around the new annual catalog.  Plus, I don’t want to think about fall or Christmas, because it eventually involves cold weather and I am definitely not ready to even think about that yet!

I had a great deal of difficulty coming up with cards since I felt I should probably be featuring the Winter mini and someone did suggest doing Christmas in July.  Sorry…just can’t do it!  So I compromised..I desigend 2 cards from the annual catalog and 1 from the winter mini and 1 from the sale-a-bration catalog.  I can live with that!

So, here are the cards: I did one Fall, one Christmas and 2 fun fold cards.

There’s some fun stuff in this class.  There are 2 fun fold cards,( the hippo card- a diamond easel card,  and the Fall card- called a joy fold card)  you will learn how to mask (that’s how I got the tea cups to stack) and a very easy but elegant, Christmas card.  I just had to showcase the hippo stamp set which is free with a $50 purchase not including S&H and tax. Who doesn’t love a hippo in a polka dot tutu?   I’m a big fan of Fiona the little hippo living at the Cincinnati zoo.  In case you don’t know, Fiona was born 6 weeks premature - the smallest hippo to be born that survived.  Her story of survival was documented by the zoo and she really is a little miracle.  And of course she is as cute as can be.  I’ve never met her in person, but that is on my bucket list.

Here are the times and places for the July Classes:

Thursday, July 14th - 10am - 2pm - home of Bette Nelson
Friday, July 29th - 10am - 2pm - Morton Christian Church
Sunday, July 31st - 1:30pm - 5pm - my home

Let me know by Sunday, July 10th if you plan to attend one of my classes.

Blessings,
Sheryl
