Holiday Card Sketch - September 2024 Stray Duckling Blog Waddle

Hi all! 

Welcome to our monthly blog waddle!  Quack, Quack!

This month we challenged ourselves by selecting a card sketch from the Stampin'Up Annual catalog (pg. 22) and then creating a holiday card from it.  This is the sketch that I choose: 

And here is the card that I created:

I used the fun Playful Ghosts stamp set (an online exclusive) and Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape 6x6 designer series paper (found in the Brights and Regal 6 x 6 DSP).  I also used Stampin'Blends to color my witchy ghost and I used Gray Granite Stampin'Blend to give my little ghosty some form.  I finished it off with Wink of Stella to give my ghost some bling and the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.  Deckled Rectangle and Deckled Circle Dies also went into this production

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card.  I must admit, it was a bit of a challenge at first.  I had to decide colors!  Oh my!  Anyway, I thought it turned out rather cute.
